Day 1 : Arrival Delhi

Arrive Delhi Airport. Meet & Greet at the International Airport by our representative and then transfer to Hotel. Overnight.
"Delhi is the symbol of old and new India. The air we breathe is full of fragrances of the past, as also the fresh and piercing winds of the present." Old Delhi however is quintessentially Indian, with a warren of cluttered houses, traditional lifestyles and age-old monuments such as the Red Fort and the Mosque.

Day 2 : Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. You will begin sightseeing of Delhi with a stop at the India Gate and Parliament buildings for photo opportunities. You will then proceed on an orientation tour of Old Delhi, with a visit to the 17th Century Jama Masjid or Friday Mosque. Enjoy a rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid through the narrow lanes of the old city terminating at the ramparts of the Red Fort.
Free for Lunch.
Visit the famous Qutab Minar. Built in 1199 by Qutub-ud-Din, Qutub Minar is the tallest stone tower as well as one of the finest Islamic structures ever erected in India. The purpose of building this beautiful monument is still not known, as some believe that it was built as a tower of victory to signify the beginning of the Muslim rule in India, while others say it served as a minaret to the adjacent mosque and was used by the muezzins to call the faithful to prayer. Qutub Minar rises to 72.5 m high and one has to climb 379 steps to get to the top.
End the day with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, the 16th Century tomb of the 2nd Mughal Emperor Humayun designed by the Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas. The first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent, it said to have inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.

Day 3 : Delhi / Varanasi(9W 723 at 1040 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and then transfer to Domestic Airport to board flight 9W 723 for Varanasi departing at 1040 hrs.
Arrive Varanasi at 1150 hrs and transfer to Hotel. Evening witness Ganga Arti. Overnight.
Varanasi known to the devout Hindu as Kashi, is said to have been founded by Shiva, Lord of the Universe, and destructor of the Evil. Its one of the oldest living cities in the world, as also one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. Its principal attraction is the long string of ghats (riverside settlements) which line the west bank of the Ganges. Ghats are steps which lead down to the river where devout pilgrims take a dip every day in the morning on the river Ganges and offer their morning prayers.

Day 4 : Varanasi

Very early wakeup and tea / coffee at the hotel. You’ll then transfer to the Riverside for the boat ride at dawn to view the sunrise on the Ganges. The boat ride will take you down stream to the several ghats, amongst which the Dasaswamedh Ghat is the most significant. Return back to the hotel with a short walk through the narrow lanes of the city. Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon you’ll visit Sarnath, located on the outskirts of the city where The Buddha is said to have delivered his first sermon after achieving enlightenment. It’s here that he preached his first five disciples on the four noble truths who then carried his message to the rest of the country.
Return to Hotel. Free for Dinner. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 5 : Varanasi / Khajuraho(9W 723 at 1220 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and then transfer to Airport to board flight 9W 723 for Khajuraho departing at 1220 hrs.
Arrive Khajuraho at 1300 hrs and transfer to Hotel. Evening visit temple. Overnight.
The Temples: The architectural style of the Khajuraho temples is very different from the temple prototype of that period. Each stands, instead of within the customary enclosure, on a high masonry platform. Combined with the upward direction of the structure, which is further accentuated by vertical projections, the total effect is one of grace and lightness, reminiscent of the Himalayan peaks. Each of the chief compartments has its own roof, grouped in such a way that the highest is in the centre, the lowest over the portico, a triumph of skill and imagination in recreating the rising peaks of a range.

Day 6 : Khajuraho / Orchha / Jhansi / Agra

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Orchha.
Orchha also has a series of magnificent temples, dating back to the 17th century. They are still in use today and visited regularly by thousands of devotees. The soaring spires of Ram Raja Temple and the well-preserved murals of the Lakshmi Naraya Temple are especially worth a visit. 14 beautiful Chhattris (cenotaphs) or memorials are lined up on the Kanchana Glut of the river Betwa.
Afternoon sightseeing of Orchha. Drive to Jhansi on arrival transfer with assistance to Jhansi Railway Station to board Shatabdi for Agra departing at 1530 hrs.
Arrive Agra at 2015 hrs and transfer with assistance to Hotel. Overnight.
Agra is globally renowned as the city of the Taj Mahal. But this royal Mughal City has, in addition to the legendary Taj, many other monuments that epitomize the high point of Mughal architecture.

Day 7 : Agra

At dawn (approximately 6:30 AM), you’ll visit the Taj Mahal. Voted as one of the new 7 wonder’s of the world, this wonder in white marble was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his wife Mumtaz in the year 1631. It took 22 years and 20000 craftsmen and laborers from India and Central Asia to complete the construction of this historic tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, the chosen one of Emperor Shah Jehan. Return to hotel for breakfast. (Taj Mahal closed on Friday)
Visit Agra Fort, built and added to between the 16th and 17th Centuries by successive rulers of the Mughal Dynasty. The Fort ramparts were raised by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar, Emperor Jehangir built rose-red palaces, courts and gardens and Shahajahan embellished it with marble mosques, palaces and pavilions of gem-inlaid white marble.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Agra.

Day 8 : Agra / Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur sikri, the 16th century capital of the Mughal rulers abandoned due to water scarcity in the area. The great Mughul Emperor Akbar had a dream to build a beautiful capital city that the world would remember. The result was Fatehpur Sikri, built entirely of red sandstone about 40 km/28 miles from Agra of the Taj Mahal. It was Akbar’s capital for 15 years, abandoned after his death in 1585 for lack of water.
Continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City of Rajasthan, is the capital of this state. The kingdom of Jaipur was originally known as Amber, which was also the name of it’s ancient capital, situated 7 miles away. In 1720’s Sawai Jai Singh II, began to build the new city of Jaipur. The city turned out to be an astonishing well-planned one based on the ancient Hindu treatise on architecture, the Shilpa Shastra. The sprawling City Palace was an integral part of Raja Sawai Jai Singh II’s new city of Jaipur. Today it’s a museum that displays some of the finest collection of paintings, costumes, carpets and armory of that period.

Day 9 : Jaipur

This morning you’ll visit the Amber Palace with a jeep ride upto the Fort. Amber Fort is superbly located and protected by wild Aravali Hills on all sides. Originally built in the 11th Century, it was extended by Raja Mansingh 1 in the late 16th Century. Its history can be traced backed to the 12th century.
You’ll be free for lunch. Later visit Astronomical observatory.
Jaipur is known for its arts and crafts, jewelry, enamel work, hand-printed fabrics and stone sculptures. Wandering through the bazaars of old Jaipur is an experience in itself. They are colorful, noisy and happily chaotic and you can buy anything here. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 10 : Jaipur / Udaipur(Flight 9W 709 at 0700 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer with assistance to Jaipur Airport to board flight 9W 709 departing at 0700 hrs.
Arrive Udaipur at 0745 hrs and transfer with assistance to Hotel.

There’s no place in India, which appeals more to the imagination of poets and painters, travelers and writers, than Udaipur, the lovely lake side capital of Mewar. It’s the most picturesque cities in India, set as it is on three beautiful Lakes and surrounded by hills. The city's inherent romance and beauty, and its remarkable past, bristling with episodes of heroism and splendor, continue to enthrall the visitor.

Day 11 : Udaipur



Visit the City Palace, a blend of stern Rajput military architecture on the outside and lavish Mughal-inspired decorative art on the inside. The Palace museum contains a wonderful collection of old Rajput weaponry. One of the more unusual moments in the colorful history of Udaipur was when it was used as a location for shooting the James Bond film, Octopussy.
Free for Lunch. Afternoon at Leisure to explore at your own interest. Overnight.

Day 12 : Udaipur / Delhi (9W 708 at 1530 hrs)

Therefore we will have to carry an overnight pack with clothes for the next day + essential toiletries). Luggage will be delivered to us at our hotel in Ranthambore, late in the evening or at night.

Day 5 : Ranthambore

Ranthambore forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. In 1972, it was estimated, that there were around 1927 tigers in India, of which Rajasthan had 74, and the number of big cats in Ranthambore Sanctuary was 14. 1972 was also the year that Project Tiger was launched, and this sanctuary was taken into its wings, with seven other sanctuaries and national parks. Today the tiger population at Ranthambore is estimated at 27 tigers in the tourism area.
The Park is also home to mammals like Sambar Deer, Monkeys, Leopard, Sloth bear, spotted deer, blackbuck, blue bull, hyena, mongoose and the Tiger.
Morning you will proceed on a Jeep Safari into the Ranthambore National Park with an English Speaking Naturalist guide.

Day 7 : Bundi / Shahpura

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Shahpura. On Shahpura Bagh was the summer residence of the rulers of Shahpura. The 30-acre estate was granted by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to Rajadhiraj Suraj Mal, Rana Pratap's grandson in 1630 AD for successful military campaigns against the Marathas and Afghans. Look beyond the beaten track amid the golden sands of Rajasthan and yo u will glimpse an oasis - A dazzling shimmer of sunshine on water that hovers on the edge of a mirage. Drive on. This is imeless Rajasthan - untouched by the creeping fingers of ‘modernity' - unchanged in its unpretentious natural grandeur.
Legend has it that, in the 1920's, Rajadhiraj Nahar Singh of Shahpura mortgaged the family's private property and jewels to bring water to his people. Today, the three lakes he created, Nahar Sagar, Umaid Sagar and the Arvardh Dam, along with 250 small lakes form the heart of a verdant wetland refuge - historic, picturesque, tranquil - an idyllic setting where man and nature have come to understand each other.

Day 8 : Shahpura

A trip into Shahpura reveals the town's rich multi-cultural vibrancy and its fascinating arts and crafts tradition. Sit with the Joshi's and watch a traditional phad,a painting depicting mythology and history, come to life.
Visit Ram Dwara, the revered ancient temple. The old city palace reveals the integration of Rajput and Mughal traditions in architecture while the geometrical symmetry of the baoli inspires a serenity that lingers. The Dhikola Fort stands majestically on a hill, surveying a vast expanse of verdant green and lakes.Jeep safari to the village. Cultural evening. Free for Dinner. Overnight.
Day 9 : Shahpura / Chittorgarh / Udaipur

After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit Chittorgarh. The story of Chittorgarh is a saga of valor, tenacity and sacrifice. Chittorgarh (also Chittaurgarh) was sacked three times and its defenders had to make the supreme sacrifice. The Fort of Chittorgarh is a treasure trove of history and offers to the traveler an insight into the life of the Great Rajput rulers, who laid down their lives fighting a superior enemy instead of leading a life of submission under them.

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Jodhpur. Enroute stop at Ranakpur for a visit to the fabulous temples in marble.( Temples open at 12’noon’)
Jainism is the religion of the Jinas or Conquerors and was found in the 6th century BC in eastern India. The people of the Jain religion built many beautiful temples, using their position and wealth. The Ranakpur temple dedicated to Adinatha the first prophet of the Jain religion, is a hymn in Marble. What makes it truly remarkable is the intricate carvings that makes for the grand architectural element of these temples.
After sightseeing of the temple you’ll can Have Lunch at FATEH BAGH a Heritage hotel located at 15 minutes drive from the temple.

Day 12 : Jodhpur

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Jodhpur. On arrival visit Meherangarh Fort. (There are many great fortresses all over Rajasthan, but very few can compare with Mehrangarh Fort. Perched on a rocky cliff, it has a commanding view of the surrounding landscape. This Palace complex was first built in the 15th Century and later added to, over the centuries by successive generations of Maharajas. It is one of the most impressive palace complexes in Rajasthan. The museum within the Fort is one of the finest museums in Rajasthan and the best laid out. )
This afternoon you can browse in the crowded little bazaar shops near the clock tower for Jodhpur’s well known glass bangles, ornamental swords, rugged leather slippers and printed fabrics. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 13 : Jodhpur/ Nimaj
Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Nimaj. On arrival Check-In, in Deluxe Tented Camps. These camps are set up on a Dam built on the CHHATRA SAGAR LAKE.
Dinner and Overnight in Nimaj.

Day 14/15 : Nimaj

Relax in the tastefully designed and well-appointed tented accommodation. Each tent has an attached bath with running hot and cold water and its own private sit out overlooking the lake. Lunch. This afternoon you will be taken on a village Safari, by one of the members of the Nimaj Family.

Guests can walk in the farms growing Chilli, Ani Seed, Cummin Seed, mustard and wheat. One can sit on the charpai (Jute Cot) and sip Masala Chai served by the farmers and walk within the settlement, which offers great photo opportunities. The ladies wear bright colors and heavy gold Jewellery, the men wear white to stay cool under the bright sun. They are vegetarians and keep buffalows and cows for dairy products.
