Dag 1 Jakarta
Arrival in Jakarta and have a rest before the tour starts the next day.

Day 2 Jakarta
Tour in Jakarta, visiting the traditional market, the old city of Batavia and Jakarta. The tour includes tasting the traditional culinary of Jakarta: kerak telor and nasi uduk. Overnight: hotel.

Day 3 Cipanas Garut
Trip to Cipanas Garut (4.5hour) to relax in a hotspring resort and taste the traditional food of West Java: nasi liwet. Overnight: hotel

Day 4 Pangandaran
Trip to Pangandaran (5hour). Arrive during lunch time and continue to explore the Green Canyon river. Enjoy the sunset and stroll casually at the beach. Overnight: hotel

Day 5 Pangandaran
Morning tour to traditional market and the village garden; continue with cooking class with local community at their houses. Cook and taste the Pangandaran specialty: Pindang Gunung (fish soup). In the afternoon, visit home industry at the villages and wayang art centre. Mesmerize yourself with the dinner performance at Sukahurip (alternative: local dance and art group – if number or time not suitable). Overnight: hotel

Day 6 Pangandaran - Purwokerto
Morning tour to village to learn about local herbs and cooking class to make traditional herbal drink. After lunch, continue trip to Baturaden Purwokerto. Overnight: hotel in Baturaden

Day 7 Dieng - Borobudur
Trip to Borobudur and enjoy lunch on the road. In the afternoon, visit the cultural wonder of Borobudur (possibility for sunset tour). Enjoy the special local food of Magelang: mie godok. Overnight: homestay
Day 8 Candirejo
Morning tour to Candirejo traditional market to buy ingredients and local garden to pick local vegetable. Guided by local housewives, cook and taste Candirejo modest and tasty food. In the afternoon, enjoy a horsecart tour. Visit a home industry and join the locals to make cassava crackers. After dinner, learn how to play Javanese musical instrument: Gamelan. Overnight: homestay

Day 9 Yogyakarta
Start early to go to Keraton – the Yogyakarta Sultan Palace. Continue to explore the alleys of Kotagede guided by local inhabitants. Taste the local snacs of Kotagede. End the day with batik shopping. Overnight: hotel

Day 10 Yogyakarta - Madiun
Morning trip to Madiun and explore this nice city of East Java. Overnight: hotel in Madiun

Day 11 Madiun - Kaliandra
Trip to the foot of Mount Arjuna – East Java to visit Kaliandra, an exquisite environmental education centre run by local community. Cooking class in Kaliandra to cook and taste local East Javanese food. Overnight: lodge

Day 12 Kaliandra – Surabaya - Bali
In the afternoon, explore Kaliandra and local villages. Trip to Surabaya to catch flights to Bali. Overnight: hotel in Bali

Day 13/14/15 Bali
Relax in Bali or continue cooking and enjoying the local food !

Day 16 Bali - Amsterdam
Fly out to Amsterdam (via Jakarta)
